National Girls Collaborative Project Resources
"Brilliant project. Articulately presented. Clear. Measurable. Possible!”
– National Girls Collaborative Project, Maine Regional Leadership Team Member

The EdLab Group strives to disseminate project findings, successes and lessons learned in order to raise awareness about our projects and contribute to the knowledge base in the field of gender equity in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
- Program Directory
The Program Directory lists organizations and programs that focus on motivating girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The purpose of this Directory is to help organizations and individuals network, share resources, and collaborate on STEM-related projects for girls.
- Mini-Grants
NGCP Mini-grants are awarded to girl-serving science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) focused programs to support collaboration, address gaps and overlaps in service, and share promising practices.
- Research Based Strategies
The National Girls Collaborative Project disseminates research-based strategies in two areas: Informal Learning and Evaluation and Assessment. Research-based strategies refer to strategies, practices, curricula and resources that have research and/or evaluation data to support their effectiveness. NGCP aims to make research-based strategies accessible, disseminating research-based strategies through three methods: NGCP Web site, NGCP webcasts and NGCP Regional Collaborative events.
- Webcast Archive
The NGCP works to strengthen capacity of existing girl-serving STEM projects by sharing promising practices, research findings and program models. One method we use to achieve this goal is a series of free webcasts in which practitioners and researchers from across the country share effective strategies for working with girls in STEM.
- Publications
The National Girls Collaborative Project (NGCP) strives to disseminate project findings, successes and lessons learned in order to raise awareness about the project and contribute to the knowledge base in the field of gender equity in STEM. NGCP Publications include scholarly articles and the Collaboration Guide.
- E-newsletters
The National Girls Collaborative Project newsletter seeks to support efforts in gender- and diversity-related issues surrounding STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). Members of the NGCP listserv receive information about the NGCP as well as information from other resources that may be valuable for STEM-related programs, including funding opportunities, resources, and upcoming events. - Events
Regional collaboratives host a variety of events for girl-serving organizations, educators, and business professionals in their areas. In addition to in-person events, NGCP hosts a series of free webcasts that present effective strategies for working with girls in STEM, including current research, program models and useful resources. - STEM Resources for Girls and Women
A collection of links and organizations related to girls and women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
