In partnership with the Girl Scouts of the USA and funding from the National Science Foundation, this project’s goal is to encourage girls from minority ethnic groups to get involved with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) while in school and to consider engineering as a possible career.

The project will provide a workshop leader’s guide and a guide aimed at girls with information on engineering careers, profiles of successful women engineers, and advice to girls and their parents on ways to succeed in school.  The guides will be customized for three different targeted audiences: Hispanic, Native American, and African American.
