- Computer Technology Guide for Students
The Computer Technology Guide for Students in Eastern Washington provides information on resources and organizations in Eastern Washington that are available to help students further develop computer skills and find free or low cost access to computers.
- Future Ready Workforce Project
The Future-Ready Workforce Project provided incumbent worker training in lean manufacturing processes and information technology skills for small to mid-size Puget Sound area companies.
- HiTech Teacher Training Project
The overall goal of the HiTech Teacher Training Project (HT3P) was to provide K-14 faculty with quality professional development opportunities, including ongoing support in the application of technology in the classroom. New models of ongoing professional development featuring mentoring, peer observation and coaching were developed in response to teacher needs.
- ITEST-Convening
The ITEST Learning Resource Center at EDC, in partnership with the National Girls Collaborative Project (NGCP) and MPR Associates, Inc., recently hosted a convening event: "Defining an After School Research Agenda." - Life Sciences Central
The EdLab Group created an online life sciences directory of education and outreach programs in Washington state.
- Non-Traditional Careers for Women
In response to the fact that women represent only three percent of the workforce in the career cluster of engineering technology, manufacturing, and construction, the North Puget Sound Regional Consortium of community and technical colleges launched a grant project aimed at increasing the number of women in these careers.
- Online Learning Program
The Online Learning Program leveraged the power of online learning and online tools to help transform teaching and learning, foster leadership, and facilitate collaboration among program partners.
- Peer Coaching
The Peer Coaching Program is designed to help schools implement a professional development model that can enhance standards-based instruction by assisting teachers to offer students engaging, technology-rich, learning activities. - Perspectives E-Newsletter
Perspectives– Views from Practitioners was an electronic newsletter written by educators who are implementing Microsoft's Partners in Learning programs, like School Leadership, Peer Coaching, or Integrating ICT Skills into Teaching and Learning.
- Science Journalism
The Science Journalism Pathways to STEM Careers project is a partnership between three organizations, Tincan, EdLab Group and Reel Grrls, which taps the digital practices and interests of middle school girls and uses them to provide insight and experience with science knowledge and careers.
- Teaching + Technology Coaching Initiative
The goals of the T2CI were to foster the systematic integration of technology into classrooms in partner school districts by training up to 150 teachers by 2004 to become coaches for other teachers in their schools.
- Teach the Teachers
Teach the Teachers was designed to help teachers who want to use technology, but struggle to find the time needed to learn about ways to integrate it into their instruction.
- TechCamps Northwest
Middle school students throughout Puget Sound spent a week learning cutting-edge computer skills in Web design, graphic design, and digital photography. TechCamps Northwest targeted groups that are statistically underrepresented in the high-tech industry, including females, minorities, and low-income youth. - Technology Opportunity Project
The Technology Opportunity Project provided information and communication technology training to low-income adults and youth in the greater Seattle and Snohomish County region. - TechREACH Alliance Project
The TechREACH Alliance Project (TAP) provided technology literacy training and a refurbished computer with Internet access to people from low-income households via established partnerships with schools, DSHS, community colleges, and/or community centers.
