Staff – Vicky Raya

Vicky is the Diversity Program Manager for EdLab Group, focusing primarily on the Computer Science Collaboration Project and the National Girls Collaborative Project. Before joining the EdLab Group, she worked for over seven years as an informal science educator and bilingual (Spanish-English) outreach program coordinator for the Pacific Science Center in Seattle, WA and as youth coordinator for the Yakima Valley Tri Cities MESA program's award-winning Acceso a la Ciencia Collaborative Project, which utilized bilingual youth interns as program facilitators. Her work experience includes leadership in designing and developing family science workshops, curriculum and youth development, training and conference presentations, and facilitating complex project collaboration with multiple school districts, Washington State University, and community-based organizations. Vicky is working towards a Bachelor of Elementary Education degree with an endorsement in Biology from Washington State University Tri Cities.
