Evaluation & Research Associates, fiscally sponsored by the EdLab Group, specializes in the evaluation of programs supporting science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) equity, informal and formal education, and teacher professional development and collaborates with clients to measure results, report outcomes, inform decision-making, and increase program success. ______________________________________________________________________________

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Program Coordinator provides critical support for several EdLab Group projects: Evaluation and Research Associates (ERA) and the National Girls Collaborative Project (NGCP). Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Evaluation & Research Associates:

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings for data collection interviews and observations, appointments, events, and other similar activities for ERA staff.
  • Perform word processing tasks such as merging and sorting, creating forms, and labels.
  • Maintain and create documents, reports, and spreadsheets using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software programs as needed.
  • Format tables, graphs, and charts for evaluation reports.
  • Proofread and edit evaluation reports.
  • Create tables of survey data in preparation for analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare, mail, and track paper surveys.
  • Data entry of survey responses.
  • Load questions into online survey application. provide technical assistance for online survey respondents
  • Assist with ERA social media efforts.
  • Operate basic office equipment such as computers, copiers, calculators, and printers

National Girls Collaborative Project:

  • Coordinate summer programs and training logistics such as facilities reservation, catering, lodging, transportation, printing, and materials inventory.
  • Assist with Community of Practice support including scheduling meetings, conference calls, and online content management system support
  • Serve as the point of contact for event partners and the public.
  • Maintain online document storage in SharePoint and other online storage locations.
  • Assist with marketing/recruitment activities including social media outreach, e-mail messaging, and flyer/mail distributions.
  • Perform set-up, coordination, and cleanup at event sites (some travel may be required).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent AND a minimum of four years of experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work with a team and independently in a changing environment, prioritize work tasks, meet timelines, follow through, and exercise independent judgment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

PHYSICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is typically performed in an office environment. The ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk/computer station and perform tasks involving repetitive arm and hand movements, such as using a computer keyboard, is required. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.


WORK SCHEDULE:
This is a part-time position, 24 hours per week in the EdLab Group office. Days and hours may be negotiated. Work occasional evening or weekend hours for special events (advance notice will be given).


COMPENSATION:
Salary range is based on a full-time rate of $30,000-40,000 annually, contingent upon experience and skills. The EdLab Group provides an excellent benefits package, which includes medical, dental, life insurance, a retirement plan, and paid vacation.
